Time Trial Courses

Benson Course (7-mile)

This is course is a flat loop with a tail in the Bensen area. The starting line is near the intersection of Airport Road (3400 North) and 3000 West. From there it goes south (and little west), around the lake, for about .8 miles to intersection of 3200 W and 3000 N. It then heads west on 3000 N for 1 mile. At the next right, Sam Feller Road, it turns right and heads north (and then northwest) past the junction with 3800 North and up past the pig farm. The turn-around is about .1 mile past the pig farm on the right. At this point, it heads back south. At junction with 3800 North, it turns left and follows that road east. The road goes around a right-hand bend and becomes 3000 West. The finish line is across from church parking lot on 3000 West.

Directions: From Logan center, take Route 91 south to Airport Road. Take a left and head west to the intersection with 3000 West. If you drive, you can park in the church parking lot.

Cache Junction (10-miles)

This is a very straight and flat out-and-back course. The only hill is a small knoll about a 1/2 mile before the turn-around. The starting/finish line is near the intersection of Route 23 and Route 30 in Petersboro. The turn around is Cache Junction, in front of the first house on the left once cross over the small hill.

Directions: From State Street in Logan, take Route 30 (i.e., 2nd North) east for about 7.5 miles. Go over the railroad tracks and turn right onto Route 23. The starting line is just passed the car-pool parking. If you drive to the course, please park on the side street about .4 miles North of the starting line.

Blacksmith Fork Canyon (10-mile)

This is an out-and-back course with some modest climbing on the way out and decents on the way back. The starting/finish line is near the mouth of canyon, where Route 101 intersects with Hallow Road.

Directions: From the center of Logan, take Route 89 South to where Route 165 splits off. Continue south on Route 165 for almost 6 miles. Turn left on Route 101 towards Blacksmith's Fork Canyon and head East for 1.3 miles. The starting/finish line is as the bottom of the hill. If you drive, please park well off the road on the South side of Route 101.

Tony Grove (7-mile)

This is one-way course is a climbers dream. It rises over 800 feet with some sections of with a ?? grade. The starting line is the near the beginning of the Tony Grove road and the finish line is at the entrance to the parking lot for the Tony Grove lake. There are tiolets at the start and finish line.

Directions: From the 4th and center in Logan, take Route 89 East, up Logan Canyon for about 18 miles. Turn left at the Lewis and Clark Campground, and then left again that heads up to Tony Grove. The starting line is 400 feet from the left-hand turn. If you are driving, please park in the lot to Northwest.

Blacksmith Fork Canyon (28-mile)

This course has the same starting/finishing line as the regular Blacksmith Fork Canyon route, but goes all the way up to Hardware Range (14 miles).

Directions: From the center of Logan, take Route 89 South to where Route 165 splits off. Continue south on Route 165 for almost 6 miles. Turn left on Route 101 towards Blacksmith's Fork Canyon and head East for 1.3 miles. The starting/finish line is as the bottom of the hill. If you drive, please park well off the road on the South side of Route 101.

Cache Classic Course (12-miles)

This is course is a flat circuit in the Bensen area. The starting line is near the intersection of Airport Road (3400 North) and 3000 West. From there it goes south (and little west), around the lake, for about .8 miles to intersection of 3200 W and 3000 N. It then heads west on 3000 N for 1 mile. At the next right, Sam Feller Road, it turns right and heads north (and west) for about 4 miles. Next, it turns right on 4800 W. and continues north for another 1/2 mile. It turns right on Route 218 (6200 N.) and heads east for 2.5 miles. There is takes another right and heads south to the finish line about 1/2 mile before the intersection of 3200 W and 3800 N.

Directions: From Logan center, take Route 91 south to Airport Road. Take a left and head west to the intersection with 3000 West. If you drive, you can park in the church parking lot.
